We welcomed 66 new staff members to Envision this past month, as the agency continues to expand its programs and services to serve more people in need.
At Central Office, Stella B. Yoon (pictured above) joined us in the newly created Director of Financial Planning and Analysis position. Stella, who has nonprofit sector experience, told the Gazette that bringing this expertise to an organization with such a strong mission as Envision's has been a career goal.
Envision Chief Financial Officer Bishal Maskey says she was the ideal candidate for this role, "Stella has 14 years of nonprofit and corporate accounting experience, including 8 years of financial management experience. Her background in non-profit finances combined with her people skills should position her well in supporting to further the mission of our agency.”
Stella is a native Chicagoan with graduate degrees in accounting, business management, and business forensics. Her undergraduate degree is in English literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Stella and her husband have two children; one is a senior in high school and the other is a college sophomore.
