Portrait of Brandi Adams

We extend a warm welcome to our new Chief External Affairs Officer, Brandi Adams. She brings nearly two decades of nonprofit leadership experience to her new role, in which she will foster strategic partnerships and strengthen relationships with policymakers, industry leaders and other key stakeholders in the disability community. These efforts will expose Envision Unlimited to a wider audience and further advocate for change for people with disabilities.

“I am deeply inspired by the impactful work that Envision Unlimited is doing to promote choice, independence, and inclusion for individuals with all types of disabilities,” said Adams, who believes everyone should have the opportunity to build a fulfilling future. My experience as a direct support professional in a group home, during college, sparked my passion for empowering individuals to lead independent lives.”

Adams has been recognized for her ability to increase philanthropic revenue and make essential connections that help organizations grow their community support and engagement. She recently served in leadership positions with the Chinese American Service League, Lake Area United Way, Smithbucklin and the American Heart Association.

“Adams’ passion, strategic mindset and collaborative spirit make her the ideal leader to support Envision Unlimited’s next phase of growth and increased impact,” said President and CEO Mark McHugh. “We look forward to flourishing with her as a key strategic partner on our leadership team.”
