Westtown member William and Jenny Achuthan joined other volunteers from Solomon Cordwell Buenz to spruce up walls at Envision Unlimited Westtown Center during MLK Day of Service 2024.
Envision Unlimited could not do all that it does without partners such as The Weaving Mill and Solomon Cordwell Buenz. We’re excited about the recent media attention we got that featured them and some of our Envision Unlimited members.
In case you missed it, last Friday, January 26, the NBC-5 show Chicago Today aired a piece on The Weaving Mill. which included Envision Unlimited members William, Valerie and Nikko. You can watch the segment here.
Also, as part of MLK Day of Service, we welcomed board member Justin Harris and his colleagues from Solomon Cordwell Buenz who joined us for a second year of painting. It was a special day and Westtown got some sprucing up thanks to very enthusiastic members and volunteers.
We had reporters and camera crews out from NBC-5, the Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune. NBC-5 featured us on the 5pm, 6pm and 10pm newscasts including images and interviews with several members as well as Justin on behalf of his company’s participation.
