The Envision Unlimited Living Room is an inviting, safe, supportive environment where a person can calmly process a mental health crisis or find the help needed to avoid a crisis.
We welcome anyone needing support who is experiencing a panic attack, severe depressive symptoms, psychotic symptoms, family-related matters, work-related matters, various types of trauma or other mental health issues.
Often an ideal alternative to a hospital emergency room for a person experiencing a mental health crisis.
At The Living Room, staff will help a person
deescalate a mental health crisis,
avoid hospitalization,
share wellness strategies which may prevent future crises,
connect with available community resources.
Key staff includes Recovery Support Specialists--peer mentors who have lived experience and in recovery themselves and have had extensive training to assist others struggling with mental illness--as well as clinical support staff.
Funded by a grant, our services are free and participation is voluntary for anyone needing our support. We are open to the entire community, regardless of whether a participant has a diagnosed mental illness, receives Medicaid or is involved in any other programs.
